‘Cirro’ High altitude cloud - wisp of hair
Cirro is a lightweight timber stool / occasional side table that is inspired and developed from traditional woven harakeke (flax). Intertwining materials such as woven flax or in this case timber, utilises the strength properties without compromising on the aesthetic pattern. An important aspect to fit into the brief of a contemporary domestic environment.
As this is an unconventional way of using and connecting timber, our team spent many hours building, testing and prototyping the Cirro stool design.
